Another (Quick) Update About The Homeserver
Finally learning when to leave good enough alone
So I finally got the homeserver happy (It's current uptime is at 41 days, 20 hours and 33 minutes!) Plex was getting killed when trying to do intro/outro detection on an ANCIENT anime DVD rip. I ripped a new copy and Plex stopped dying every night. Once it stopped dying every night, I stopped getting pummeled with logs to the point where the logging daemon fell over. The system is extremely stable on CPU and memory usage now, so everything is coming up Millhouse!
One change I did make was trying out Bottom (screenshot below) as a replacement for Top and HTop. I really like the layout and the information it shows, something that is worth checking out if you are into keeping an eye on system performance.
